Kushner Entertainment Leadership
Andy Kushner | CEO & Founder
Andy forged his path as a musician at a young age, beginning as a trumpet player. In high school, he started his first cover band, Rhythm. This group became a huge success, igniting a spark and passion for creating and performing. In spite of his immense musical and creative drive, he went on to receive his bachelor’s in Business Management from Boston University before earning a successful career in corporate America with IBM, then Lexmark.
Andy’s passion for music remained steadfast, driving him to seek exceptional musicians and pursue private lessons with a celebrity vocal teacher, leading to his unique expertise in choosing and producing singers, eventually creating SoundConnection. Through their success, rising quickly to the top of the market as evidenced by numerous awards and press, he chose to take the plunge and leave corporate America to pursue his purpose through music full-time by launching Kushner Entertainment.
Decades of experience have earned Andy a reputation as a world-renowned, published, and award-winning celebrity Entertainment Designer, now with multiple bands and string quartets which he’s carefully curated, produced and continues to manage.
Highlights include elaborate productions with internationally renowned event planners & designers including Colin Cowie, David Tutera, Preston Bailey and Sean DeFreitas as well as a myriad of local and regional weddings, social, and corporate entertainment productions and bookings. Extravagant corporate performances include the high-rollers’ New Year’s Eve Bash at the Bellagio Las Vegas, the grand opening of Guadalajara’s Chivas Stadium in Mexico City, and corporate conferences for a major global medical supply manufacturer in Singapore, Texas, and Indiana.
Andy continues to grow his footprint in the industry through two celebrated podcasts: The Wedding Biz, which features in-depth interviews with event industry celebrities, and Extraordinary Ordinary People, in which he uncovers the extraordinary in ordinary people through meaningful and engaging conversation.
Whether you are an event industry professional or a wedding couple or corporate client, we urge you to subscribe to The Wedding Biz at https://theweddingbiz.com/subscribe/ in order to gain education and inspiration. To book Andy for speaking engagements, please contact us.
