Andy forged his path as a musician at a young age, beginning as a trumpet player. In high school, he started his first cover band, Rhythm. This group became a huge success, igniting a spark and passion for creating and performing. In spite of his immense musical and creative drive, he went on to receive his bachelor’s in Business Management from Boston University before earning a successful career in corporate America with IBM, then Lexmark.
Andy’s passion for music remained steadfast, driving him to seek exceptional musicians and pursue private lessons with a celebrity vocal teacher, leading to his unique expertise in choosing and producing singers, eventually creating SoundConnection. Through their success, rising quickly to the top of the market as evidenced by numerous awards and press, he chose to take the plunge and leave corporate America to pursue his purpose through music full-time by launching Kushner Entertainment.
Decades of experience have earned Andy a reputation as a world-renowned, published, and award-winning celebrity Entertainment Designer, now with multiple bands and string quartets which he’s carefully curated, produced and continues to manage.
Andy continues to grow his footprint in the industry through two celebrated podcasts: The Wedding Biz, which features in-depth interviews with event industry celebrities, and The Music Makers , in which he undercover the behind-the-scenes stories from some of the most influential music industry pros around.
